Programme description
The Bachelor of Science in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering (BSMRE) equips students to design, build, and manage intelligent systems that combine mechanical, electronic, computer, and control engineering — at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Students explore robotics design, embedded systems, AI and machine learning, control systems, renewable energy automation, and industrial mechatronics through practical training, project-based learning, and modern laboratories.
The curriculum integrates sustainability and energy efficiency. Graduates contribute to Uganda’s industrialisation, Africa’s technological self-reliance, and global innovation — from smart manufacturing to healthcare robotics and climate technologies.
